I don't need to eat gluten-free foods, but I really enjoyed eating Marion's Smart Delights because of their overall health benefits, and they just taste great - period! I don't like store bought baked goods because they are too sweet, but these have just the right amount of sugar to still make them enjoyable, and give me the peace of mind of eating healthy.

I can’t say enough about the quality and taste of Marion’s Smart Delights Gluten-Free Cookie and Muffin Baking Mix. I had the opportunity to try several of Marion’s recipes using the mix, and each was just divine: the chocolate chip muffins, vegan orange chocolate chip muffins, and the shortbread cookies. The mix is not only gluten-free, but free of ALL 8 major allergens!
Another thing that sets this versatile gluten-free baking mix apart from all the others is that it’s the only one that incorporates so many sources of whole grains (millet, amaranth, quinoa, and timtana), making your baked goods healthy as well as delicious. And because the mix is naturally low in sugar and sodium, you aren’t getting as much of the “bad stuff” either...but trust me, the taste doesn’t suffer.
I really enjoyed the subtle sweetness that can be tailored depending on the recipe you follow and what you add to the mix. My son has type 1 diabetes and although he doesn't have celiac disease, we often eat gluten-free food because it's low-glycemic. We love Marion's Smart Delights Cookie and Muffin Baking Mix because it uses healthy whole grains and has less sugar and can be made with olive oil.
I definitely see a difference in my son's blood sugar when he eats one of these treats, versus other mixes. My kids like the mix as-is, but we've also added a little Splenda to sweeten it up sometimes. The cookies are great with dark chocolate chips!!

My family and I have been eating Marion's gluten-free treats for several years because my daughter has autism. We are so pleased that Marion has now come out with Marion's Smart Delights Cookie and Muffin Mix. My daughters think that Marion's mix tastes better than the other gluten-free mixes we have used, and I like it because it is nutritious and wholesome.
I made pumpkin chocolate chip muffins - I added a box of pumpkin pie filling, a handful of chocolate chips, 2 tablespoons of ground flaxseed and two tablespoons of almond meal. I also used only 1/2 stick of butter.

I am so pleased that Marion has created a wonderfully tasting nutritious alternative to the ones I find on the market. Before being diagnosed with celiac disease in Spring 2009, all of my carbohydrates were whole wheat, whole grains, brown rice, etc. I did not eat white flour and sugar products. Fiber is critical to my diet being that I struggle with Irritable Bowel Syndrome also. I was disappointed at all the starchy white flour alternatives on the store shelves and in the freezers.
I am so grateful to have met Marion and to have the opportunity to taste and test her products. They taste delicious, they are highly nutritious and look appealing as well.
I can proudly serve Marion's products to company, take to tea parties and social events, as well as enjoy with my family. I now make cookies, muffins, and lemon bars which I freeze and than have ready for these occasions. All of the products freeze well. My wish is for Marion to provide mixes for breads that will provide the same nutritional value and taste better than the current store alternatives.
